Payment Options

When using Paypal, we must ship to the confirmed address. If you specify payment by money order, the remittance information will be included on the invoice you receive by email.

For Visa and Mastercard payments, Cottage Linen protects your credit-card data during transmission using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. Credit-card processing is performed by Linkpoint and CardService International. Customer order information is encrypted and stored on Card Services servers, which use state-of-the-art security measures.

Please be sure to enter your name, address, zip code, and card number exactly as shown on the billing statement from your credit card company. For additional protection, purchasers are required to enter a CVV2 validation number (several digits on the physical credit card that are distinct from the primary card number).

Because many our items are in limited quantities or one-of-a-kind, Cottage Linen will hold items ten days awaiting payment for orders within the United States and fourteen days for international orders, before returning items to stock. If payment arrives beyond those dates, item will ship if still available, or payment will be returned. If you think that your payment may be delayed, please notify us so we can hold it longer.

 

Shipping Costs

 

All shipping rates are calculated by weight and will be added up in your shopping cart, based on the combined weight of items. For your protection, everything is shipped with tracking or a delivery confirmation where available, and full insurance coverage.

 

Delivery

 

We ship promptly. Smaller items will travel with the US Postal Service and larger orders will be shipped with Federal Express ground service. Generally orders arrive in 7-10 business days. International rates are all calculated for air mail. If rates are not available for your country, please inquire.

If this is a gift, please let us know to remove the invoice from the package.

 

Returns

 

We strive to for customer satisfaction. Please notify us within 3 days of receipt if there is a problem with your order to arrange for return. Items should be received by Cottage Linen within 30 days of original receipt. Personal or custom items, such as bed linens, towels, custom cut fabric, and food items are not returnable.

After your merchandise has been received, we will issue you a refund. If you paid by the method you paid by. A refund by check will take up to 14 business days.

If you prefer to exchange for another item, we will credit you for the value of the returned item(s). Any item returned must be repackaged in the original packaging and in the new and unused condition. The obvious exception is vintage items which must be received in the condition they were shipped in. The refund process will begin once the items are received. Please include the original invoice. Shipping costs are not refunded and the buyer assumes the responsibility for return shipping and insurance. If merchandise is returned and not in the original condition as sold, no monies can be refunded.

 

Damaged Items

 

We pack securely so your items arrive safely. If there ever is a problem, please retain all of the packing materials and contact us immediately. In most cases, the original shipper will need to pick up the item and packing for inspection. Do not attempt to return a damaged item yourself, as doing so will void the insurance.
